Question

What music is being played at the wedding reception?

Answer

To make our wedding day even more special, we've created a collaborative Spotify playlist where our guests can contribute their favorite songs! Simply copy and paste the link into an open tab to access the "Reception Playlist". From there, you can add tracks you think we'll love or that will get everyone dancing. We'll review the playlist before the wedding to ensure the perfect mix of music for our celebration. We are also adding in some line dancing songs. If you want to learn them please refer tho the "How can I learn the line dances?" FAQ. https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2n4YIhdh9RrBFnox59bxs2?si=x03OtQvDSXWorZUTZeKqEA&pi=ILK_yajsQ2afh&pt=751375a78531aaac475b75adca1b3d00

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding day is expected to be warm, with highs in the 90s°F and lows in the 70s°F, so we want everyone to be comfortable while still looking celebratory! For women, lightweight dresses in breathable fabrics like cotton, linen, or chiffon are perfect. Flowing sundresses, summer cocktail dresses, or elegant maxi dresses in light or pastel colors will help you stay cool while looking fabulous. Comfortable sandals, wedges, or low heels are recommended, especially for the outdoors portions. For men, lightweight dress pants or chinos paired with a button-up shirt are ideal. Blazers in breathable fabrics are optional, and ties can be worn but are not required. Light colors such as beige, gray, or pastels will help keep you cool. Loafers or other comfortable dress shoes work best, particularly for outdoor areas. We recommend staying hydrated, applying sunscreen, and considering hats or sunglasses for outdoor portions of the day. Layers can also be helpful if moving between shaded or air-conditioned spaces and the sunny outdoors. Our goal is for everyone to enjoy the celebration comfortably while feeling dressed for a special summer occasion. In short, think “summer cocktail” or “semi-formal” attire: elegant, breathable, and perfect for a warm outdoor celebration. For what color options are appropriate to wear please reference the "What colors can I wear to the wedding?" FAQ.

Question

What colors can I wear to the wedding?

Answer

We recommend guests avoid wearing yellows, greens, and blues, as these are the designated colors for our wedding party. All other colors are welcome and encouraged!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unless specified on your wedding invitation or directly approved by the bride and groom, we kindly ask that you do not bring a plus one. As we are intentionally keeping our celebration intimate by inviting only our closest friends and family, we appreciate your understanding and respect for this request.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during our ceremony. Our professional photographer will beautifully capture every special moment, allowing us and our guests to be fully present and enjoy the celebration.
