August 21, 2016: Austin started his first day of his college running career, but what he didn’t know was he met the love of his life eating dinner at Pizza Hut as he met his cross country team. As the season progressed Aspen and Austin became best friends who: made snacks together, ate dinner together, and would have life talks while we did homework. Spring semester 2017 in chemistry 111 is where the chemistry began. They did homework everyday together, made chemistry jokes all the time in class, and talked all the time. As the semester ended they started getting really upset knowing that Austin would be moving school that next year and they would never get to spend long nights doing homework together and laughing. So they planned a trip to see each other a week after the semester ended. It was May 20, 2017. May 20th came around (neither knowing if it was a date or not) and they met each other at Lansing Mall, had dinner at “Zaytoon Mediterranean”, went to the Ledges and climbs rocks, walked across a railroad track, laughed a lot and planned when they would see each other next, they didn’t want that night to end yet, so Austin took Aspen to meet his friends and they all went to the arcade. Austin won his first prize from a claw machine ever and gave it to Aspen. The night was coming to an end, and Austin finally asked Aspen to be his girlfriend, to see where things lead as a long distance relationship. Needless to say it lead to endless love, we have only missed one weekend since we’ve started dating May 20, 2017. We’ve spend many weekends traveling to see each other, getting to know each other’s friends and families, we’ve laughed so much. Loved so much! It has been amazing. Then on August 12, 2018 there relationship changed! They got engaged, in the exact same place as their first date happened. And now they get to spend their lives together in marriage. Love is crazy and it definitely travels! ❤️
