Nearby towns are Garden City, Surfside Beach, Murrells Inlet, Polly’s Island, or Litchfield. Myrtle beach is an option, however, it’s about 30-45 minutes away from Murrells Inlet. If your in Connecticut, Spirit Airlines may be one of the cheapest options. Flights are direct starting in MARCH from BDL-MYR ..WAHOO! However, direct flights from BDL-MYR are only on certain days : Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. however, you only get one free personal bag the size of a school backpack. Carry on and checked bags cost $. If you pay in advance ( or at booking--should be around $30-40 per bag) vs. at the airport you save LOTS of money.
