From there, everything fell into place. We were inseparable, and just a week later Austin met Lexi’s entire family at a Father’s Day lake day—no pressure. It felt natural, and he fit right in.
Before long, we realized we had found our life long best friend. Just before long distance between New York and Virginia for Lexi’s first semester of medical school, Austin asked her to be his girlfriend. What started as a DM became our favorite love story, and on May 2, 2027, we can’t wait to say “I do” and keep choosing each other, every single day, for the rest of our lives.
