We're getting Married!

We met in our high school library. I was a freshman and Austin was a sophomore. Our friends set us up to meet in person. Upon our first meeting, we both looked at each other with a smile on our faces, exchanged numbers, and the rest is history. We talked non-stop and started officially started dating about 8 months later. We are so grateful for the friends that had us meet and the support we've received from both friends and family along the way.

When Austin got back from deployment, he came up with the idea to do a photoshoot. In the beginning, I had no idea he was planning on proposing during the photoshoot, but I am so glad he did! Our sunset photoshoot was the most magical surprise ever. During the photoshoot, our great photographer, Adelyn, had us stand with our backs to each other. She told us on the count of 3 to turn and face each other. Little did I know, that was his queue to get ready! As soon as I spun around, there he was, down on his knee with the most beautiful ring and a big smile on his face. He expressed his love and explained how he wants to make a life together in Christ. It was the sweetest and most beautiful thing. Then came the famous words, "Will you marry me?" and of course I said "Yes!!!" The easiest yes of my life! God truly blessed us with each other. We cannot wait to build a married life together with Christ in the center! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you on 5.25.25!
