“We’re Getting Married!”

(Ann speaking) A couple of days after I got back from a month stay in Poland, my friend asked me if I wanted to go to a canaries baseball game in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Austin noticed me when a friend and I went down the steps to talk to her parents which was located close to where Austin and his friends were sitting. Later on, that same friend wanted me to take a photo with her standing next to the canaries mascot. As we were taking photos, Austin stood by and waited to ask for my number. A couple weeks later, Austin asked me to be his girlfriend on the top of a Ferris wheel at the Brown County Fair in Parker, SD. Since then, we’ve been able to celebrate 10 awesome years together as boyfriend and girlfriend. Now, we are soon to be able to celebrate our upcoming years together as husband and wife.

A few weeks prior to going out to the Black Hills, Austin let his parents know that he wanted to propose to Ann there. Austin told his mom that Ann wanted to be completely surprised which turned out to be just that, a huge surprise! His parents, Austin, and Ann drove to Spearfish Canyon, South Dakota to walk around and take pictures. As they were taking pictures, Austin got down on one knee and asked to marry Ann!
