Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate this occasion with you - our friends and family. If you feel that we have forgotten someone by mistake, please let us know so we can get them their invitation! However, with budget constraints in mind, we are not able to invite additional guests to our wedding. The names of every guest invited to attend will be clearly listed on your invitation. Please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any further questions!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please! Feel free to reach out to us and we will find a way to make it work. Our venue can take steps to avoid cross contamination but they are not a nut free kitchen. We will have vegetarian and gluten free appetizers, sides, and entrees available for you to choose from for dinner.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

All guests will be listed clearly on each household’s invitation and RSVP. We have some young family members that will be invited to join us and celebrate!

What is the dress code?

Answer

We’re just happy that you can make it. You probably have just the right dress/suit/nice outfit hanging in your closet, but you’re welcome to use this as an opportunity to buy something that makes you happy (and allows for plenty of dancing and celebrating). Florals and fun colors encouraged. It’ll be October in Missouri which unfortunately means the weather could be just about anything. Our ceremony will be held outside as long as it’s not raining, but we will give as much notice as possible if that changes. On that note, pointy heels are probably not a great idea. You should save all wedding dresses or all-white look-alikes for any day but this one.

What are the wedding colors?

Answer

Our wedding colors are dark green and fall oranges and reds. We are planning on plenty of fall vibes with a modern, but whimsical feel. Bridesmaids will be wearing floor-length, solid-color dresses in dark green and groomsmen will be in suits with matching green ties. If you do not wish to be given some sort of wedding day task upon your arrival, I suggest you do not come in one of these outfits.
