Grafton Village Cheese Company
The Grafton Cooperative Cheese Company was founded in 1892 by dairy farmers who gathered together in a cooperative to make their surplus raw milk into cheese. In the days before refrigeration, there were many such cooperatives in the rural agricultural communities and an abundance of fresh, creamy milk was turned into a food that could be stored for a longer period of time.
Plummer's Sugar House
We produce and sell all grades of the finest pure Vermont maple syrup, maple cream spread, maple candy and gift boxes. We offer free tours of our sugar house with any purchase from our gift shop. Shipping is available. Located 3 miles south of Grafton Village.
The Nature Museum
The Nature Museum at Grafton is a regional resource for nature, science, and environmental education in Vermont and New Hampshire communities of the Connecticut River Valley. Our collections focus on the natural history of northern New England, with exhibits on local flora, fauna, and geology. More than just a museum, we offer nature-based programs and experiences for people of all ages. Our programs and events are designed to inspire people to safeguard our region’s resources for a sustainable future. The Museum is surrounded by a beautiful garden filled with native plants, a frog pond, and picnic tables. Behind the Museum are the trails of the Village Park, a wooded trail system where visitors can amble through the forest. Trail maps are available at the Museum.
Grafton Trails & Outdoor Center
The Grafton Trails & Outdoor Center is the perfect place to get out and explore. Located on 2,000 acres of scenic land, the Outdoor Center offers an extensive network of trails for year-round activities. Visit in the summer for mountain biking, swimming, and hiking, or chase a fresh snowfall with skiing, snowshoeing, tubing, fat biking, and sleigh rides in the winter months.
Grafton Historical Society
Grafton’s fascinating past is on display in this award winning museum with a gift shop, rich with artifacts representing over 250 years of history. Exhibits changed annually.

Enjoy a comfortable welcome at the Grafton Public Library. Visit our beautiful grounds and building, which is on the National Register of Historic Places. Free wifi, on-going book-sale room and guests to Grafton have library borrowing privileges. The perfect place to relax!
