Where is the venue?

The ceremony and reception will both be at Chrisman Manor. 13925 54th St, Oskaloosa, KS 66066

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm. Please arrive between 3:30 and 3:45pm on Saturday November 1. The ceremony will be outside as weather permits - dress accordingly. Reception is inside.

What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail or semi-formal attire. Please do not wear casual jeans or t-shirts. MEN: blazers, polos, button downs, slacks, nice khakis and suits are appropriate WOMEN: dresses, jumpsuits, skirts, or nice slacks and blouses are appropriate Come prepared for the weather as the ceremony will be held outside, as weather permits.

What food will be served?

Answer

Cocktail Hour: hummus, pita chips, pretzels, baby carrots Dinner: garlic herb chicken breasts, meatloaf, oven roasted vegetables, white cheddar mac and cheese, house salad Dessert: white and chocolate wedding cake, assorted cookies If you have special dietary needs, please ensure this is included in the RSVP form.

Will there be drinks?

Yes, we will have an open bar with various options available.

Are children allowed?

Answer

We would prefer no children at the event (unless immediate family). Please reach out to the couple if there are concerns.

Can I take photos?

Answer

During the ceremony, refrain from taking photos or videos. Enjoy the moment with us in person! We have a professional photographer to take photos during the ceremony. During the remainder of the event, you may take photos freely. We will have a QR code available for you to upload any photos you take, so reception photos by the guests are encouraged!

Will there be transportation?

Answer

Since the ceremony and reception will both be at the same venue (Chrisman Manor), we are not providing transportation services. Please plan accordingly.

Is parking available on site?

Answer

Yes, there will be enough parking at the venue. The venue lot is gravel.

Do I need a hotel?

Answer

We are leaving accommodations up to each guest to decide. The closest hotels are on Mass St in Lawrence, KS (about 20 minutes away).
