Capon Springs is a family owned family camp, just over the West Virginia line. Meals are served family style in the dining room at set times during the day, and there is no internet access in guest rooms. There are lots of activities to enjoy, including lawn games, tennis, hiking, and swimming, and there is golf and a spa available for an additional fee. Capon is fed by a natural warm spring, known for its healing properties. If you live nearby, bring jugs to fill up and take home! Last but not least, Franklin Pierce, perhaps the least notable of all U.S. Presidents, once stayed at Capon.
Room rates are $160/night per adult for the first two adults in a room with a private bathroom and $130/night per adult for a room with a shared bathroom. Each additional adult in a room is $75/night. Children under 5 are free. Children 5-12 are $45/night, and children ages 13 and up are $75/night. These rates are inclusive of all meals, taxes, and gratuities.
Please go to the "Main House" to check in at the reception desk. If you are coming just for the Ceremony, you can park near the Main House and take a short walk up the hill, or there is some parking closer to the Sunset Lodge.
