Transportation plan?

Answer

As part of making the night as fun and safe as possible, we’re offering complimentary shuttle service for guests staying at nearby hotels and AirbnBs. Please don’t drink and drive! Our 15-passenger, white Mercedes sprinter van will be running once in the afternoon and then throughout the evening to help everyone get safely home from the venue. If you have emergencies or cannot find any safe transportation, please message Chris Duplessis (603-991-6979) as a first resort, and Ari Straus (914-475-8099) as a second resort. To get TO the venue: Austin, our amazing driver, will leave promptly by the departure times below! If your lodging isn’t on this list, we unfortunately can’t provide transportation to the venue. Boarding window each hour: :00–:15. Departure time is 0:15 on the dot. Boarding will occur just outside the front entrance of the barn. Are gifts required?

Answer

NO! Your presence is the greatest gift, and we know many of you are traveling far to be with us. If you wish to contribute, we would be grateful for gifts off our registry sent directly to our home or contributions to our honeymoon fund.

Yes! We'd love to have kiddos of any age attend our event.

What should I wear?

Answer

Note: the Florida "winter" isn't really winter; it'll be sunny and 70s during the day! The evenings will get breezy, so we'd recommend light sweaters or scarfs just in case. For the welcome party: Our welcome party will be in a restored 1925 speakeasy! Dress to impress in your best Roaring ’20s-inspired cocktail attire—think velvet, feathers, satin, and sharp suits. Fun costumes encouraged. For the wedding: Dressy cocktail. Wear long dresses, dressy jumpsuits, and suits. It’s New Year’s Eve, so sequins and sparkles encouraged, but wear whatever brings you joy! We will be in an outdoor garden for most of the evening, and will head inside around 9 pm. The ground at Colab is turfed to prevent heels digging in, but we'd recommend thicker heels just in case. For the day-after brunch: casual clothing and bathing suits for those who want to swim.

Which venues are wheelchair-accessible?

Answer

Our wedding venue, Colab Gardens, is ADA accessible, as well as our hotel of choice (Hutchinson Shores). There are also multiple AirBnBs on our saved list that are accessible!

Can I use my phone during the ceremony?

We will have a phone-free ceremony! Our wonderful photographers will be capturing you all.

What type of food and drinks will be served?

Answer

We will have an open bar with hors d'oevres at cocktail hour, followed by dinner. If you have dietary restrictions that you believe may not have been captured in your RSVP, please let us know.
