The first time I saw her, she was in training working for Bob Evans, as I was coming in for an interview. She was eating Salmon, with broccoli and rolls. I kept looking over, trying to get a good look at her, while I waited for my interview to start. As I finished the interview, I looked over and our eyes met, and I smiled the rest of the way home. The next time we saw each other, we were both in a meeting. As we sat there, her in her pink shirt, taking notes, I kept peeking over at her, like we were in 6th grade. Numbers were never exchanged, until she became my boss, where Aurora reached out and texted me first.
Our first date was a hike, where I fell and pretended not to hurt myself (which I did, and really hurt my elbow). Being the romantic person I am, it took me 2.5 seconds to think about where to take the most amazing woman to ask her for her hand in marriage. I took her back to the same spot as our first date, and I was nervous the entire hike. I wanted to add extra to the moment, so I had our family waiting at the top of the hill, and a photographer waiting for the moment. As I got down on one knee and asked Aurora to marry me, the pictures were caught in the momnet. After all the words that I had rehearsed all day and week, over and over again; all that came out was the standard question. Will you marry me? She responded with yes, after she made eye contact with the photographer and began to tear up. As we hiked to the top, everyone greeted us, and as I said, "she said yes", everyone cheered and yelled in joy. We are so excited to invite you to spend this new chapter of our lives with us!
