Our Story
Aurora and Clayton met in the Fall of 2008 when Aurora first attended Centenary College of Louisiana for her Freshman year. They were connected through swim team mutual friends and spent many weekends together hanging out, attending parties, and listening to music as friends. Their friendship was cemented when they went to see Kevin Fowler in concert and danced the night away.
They saw each other from time to time at mutual friends' weddings over the years, but it was 13 years later that they were truly reconnected. Clayton reached out after Aurora posted on social media about having to cut down some trees in her yard. They discussed Clayton's lure business and his use of wood to make the lures. They picked right back up like no time had passed. But instead of friendship like old times, they quickly saw something special in each other and knew they had the foundation for love and building a life together.
