Kyle and I first met through a video game if you can believe that! I was playing Call of Duty alone until Clinton invited me to join a game with him and Kyle. I quickly realized that we had a lot in common and we soon began to text while also still playing the game together. I was able to meet his daughter Adelynn and I was completely taken away by her, she’s the best little girl. As Kyle and I grew closer he had eventually asked me if I would like to have dinner with him, he cooked! I said yes and we soon realized just how amazing things would be together. We are into so much of the same stuff, and we deeply appreciate the nerd in each other. We have had a couple years filled with laughter and love, and extra when we have Addie! We've had many date nights and movie nights, one of our favorite things to do together is going to a streaming service and picking an underrated movie and watching it. Although 8 times out of 10 the movie is horrible, we have found some gems in the rough. We have taken the time to learn what the other is into, whether it be Harry Potter, Star Wars, Dragonball Z or as of recently The Lord of The Rings and The Hobbit. We've re watched Supernatural 100 times and I couldn't see myself living any other life now we have an amazing relationship that will only continue to deepen with time. We had decided to celebrate Christmas with my family early because my grandparents were down for the weekend and we had Addie! So we used his Grandma’s gathering place to celebrate. Well Addie was sick and we didn’t think we would all be able to actually get together, but at the last minute everyone was able to come! Little did I know that Kyle had something a lot bigger planned and wanted to make sure my family as well as his was a part of it. After we finished dinner he led me to a rocking chair by the tree and had me read aloud a letter. Halfway through I started to realize that he may be about to ask me a question I was sure wasn’t going to happen. After reading said letter he handed me a Harry Potter book and got down on one knee as I opened it. It was cut out to the Unbreakable Vow chapter and had the most beautiful ring I’ve ever seen! He asked me to marry him and I of course happily and emotionally said yes! One year later and we added our newest member to the family Jack Eugene and he has made our little family complete. Him and Addie are the apples of our eyes! He adores his big sister and she loves him too and is a fantastic big sister!
