We're getting married!

Rob and Auri were friends well before they started dating the summer between their sophomore and junior years of high school. Neither of them had a clue when they first met in 2014 that it would be the start of something great. Rob thought to himself that she was quiet and cute; Auri thought he was cute and nerdy. It wasn't until they had more classes together that a bond started to form between the two. Rob eventually asked Auri to be his girlfriend in July of 2016. If you were to ask them about it now, they may tell you he got some sense knocked into him after being smacked with a water bottle by Auri after being encouraged to "follow through" by their teacher.

When they had gotten a few years into their relationship, there started to be discussions of their future. Rob always said that when he proposed to her, it would be at his favorite place on earth: a little lake around Lake George, New York. Auri has been going with Rob and his family for a few years now and has also grown to love this place. They made plans to celebrate their anniversary this year in LG. They went out to dinner at a little sushi spot they discovered in one of their previous trips. By the end of dinner, Rob was rushing for the check and boxes to get back to the lake for "sunset pictures for his mom's Christmas card." (Obviously that was not his real reason, because he was planning on proposing to Auri!) The whole car ride back he seemed nervous, and they discussed what the future held for them and how much they love each other. Auri thought nothing of this and was completely oblivious to what was about to happen. They walked down to the little beach to take some pictures, and Rob seemed extremely nervous. He first asked her if she truly loves him, and when she told him yes, he got on one knee with a ring and asked her to marry him. She said yes, and now they are getting married!

We are so excited to start this next chapter with everyone special in our lives. King Cole is a beautiful venue and we look forward to celebrating this amazing time of our lives with you! Love Auri & Rob
