While we love your kids, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us. Unfortunately, there are no exceptions.
Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.
The dress code for our wedding is garden cocktail. This is the biggest day of our lives which will be remembered by our most important photos, so please if you have any questions about what we would prefer you to wear don't hesitate to ask! Men: please no shorts, jeans, hats, or athletic clothing (including golf polos). No sandals, boots, or athletic shoes. Please wear dress pants, dress shoes, button-up dress shirts, and a tie and/or blazer or sport jacket. Women: please no shorts, jeans, or yoga pants/leggings. (A long dress or skirt is highly preferred.) No sneakers, boots or athletic shoes. Please no informal sundresses, because despite being an outdoor wedding, our theme is more of a formal vintage dinner party. Finally, please do not wear any solid black or white, including patterns with a white background. We appreciate your understanding.
Our ceremony will begin tentatively at 3:00pm. Please arrive by 2:30 to allow enough time for parking and finding a seat. In order to assist in everything running smoothly and without interruptions, those who arrive late will not be able to attend the ceremony.
We will be having an unplugged ceremony, so please put away all cameras, cell phones, and camcorders. We will be using a professional photographer and videographer to capture the memories for us and photos will be available to you all as soon as we get them back! As soon as cocktail hour begins feel free to take photos to your heart’s content!
We appreciate everyone simply taking the time to help celebrate us on our big day. For those who feel so inclined to give a gift, we kindly ask that you consider our honeymoon fund. If you prefer to give a physical item, we will also have an online gift registry, both linked on this website.
Yes, we will have an open bar. There will be a tip jar to show appreciation for the hardworking bartenders.
Our ceremony is scheduled to be outside, except in the event of heavy rain or storms. We do have a backup indoor ceremony area on site in this case. We will still be outside if it's just a drizzle or sprinkle, however. Our cocktail hour is scheduled to be outside, but there is a covered porch. Finally, our reception will be inside. Please keep in mind our venue does not have air conditioning but there will be various fans around and doors and windows will be open to help keep everyone cool.
No, the entire wedding is all in one place -- from the ceremony to the last dance!
