What Should I Wear? Is There a Dress Code?
Answer
The dress code for our wedding is “as formal as possible”. Men: please no shorts, jeans, hats, or athletic clothing (including polos). No sandals, boots, or athletic shoes, please. Women: please no shorts, jeans, or yoga pants/leggings. No sneakers, flip-flops or athletic shoes please! Despite this being a “barn” wedding this is not a “country” wedding so no cowboy boots or cowboy hats please and thank you. Long dresses and long pants/long-sleeved collared shirts are preferred. Finally, please do not wear any solid white, including mostly-white patterns. We appreciate your understanding!

What Time Does the Ceremony Start?
Answer
Our ceremony will begin at 3:00pm. Please arrive by 2:30 to allow enough time for parking and finding a seat.

Can I Bring a Plus One?
Answer
Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation. If there is any question or concern please reach out to Aurelia or Tyler directly. Thank you for understanding!

Are Children Welcome?
Answer
While we love your kids, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Will I Be Able to Take Photos or Videos During the Ceremony?
Answer
We will be having an unplugged ceremony, so please put away all cameras, cell phones, and camcorders. We will be using a professional photographer and videographer to capture the memories for us and photos will be available to you all as soon as we get them back! As soon as cocktail hour begins feel free to take photos to your heart’s content!

Will Transportation Be Arranged?
Answer
After our reception ends at 11:00pm please feel free to leave the venue and check into your room at the Best Western Plus in Wayland (for those using the accommodations), then meet us at Gun Lake Casino for the “after party”! We have organized to cover Uber rides to allow for those participating in this event with us post-wedding to get to these two destinations safely. See Tyler during the reception for the code needed to charge your ride to our account! This code will also cover rides back to the venue Sunday morning to retrieve your vehicle. Unfortunately, we are not able to cover transportation for guests traveling home or to other locations the evening of the wedding.

Do You Have a Gift Registry?
Answer
We appreciate everyone simply taking the time to help celebrate us on our big day. For those who feel so inclined to give a gift, we kindly ask that you consider our honeymoon fund. If you prefer to give a physical item, we will also have an online gift registry, both linked on this website.

Will The Wedding Be Inside or Outside?
Answer
Our ceremony is scheduled to be outside, except in the event of heavy rain or storms. We do have a backup indoor ceremony area on site in this case. We will still be outside if it's just a drizzle or sprinkle, however. Our cocktail hour is scheduled to be outside, but there is a covered porch. Finally, our reception will be inside.

Will Alcohol Be Served?
Answer
Yes, we will have an open bar. PLEASE have your ID on your person as the catering service may request to see identification.

Will the Ceremony and Reception Be at Separate Locations?
Answer
No, the entire wedding is all in one place -- from the ceremony to the last dance!
