How should I dress for Vegas?

Answer

There are packing suggestions under Travel. Pack for the HEAT. It is a dry heat but will be over 100 degrees in August. Also, pack for air conditioning cold. They blast it in the casino. Bathing suits require coverups within hotels, casinos, and restaurants. Most people were pretty casual in Vegas, this does not mean that you will feel overdressed. Being fabulous is encouraged just not enforced. For the wedding day: dress as your most fabulous self. Whatever that means to you. But I’m asking as the bride to be… please don’t feel the need to wear white 😂 Bring a bathing suit if you’d like to take a dip in the pool. There is a dressing room at the house as well as restrooms to change in.

How do I travel in Vegas?

We recommend the monorail for traveling on the Strip. With a stop at the Horseshoe (connected to the Paris) you can pay $15 for an unlimited day pass with multi-day cheaper options. Walking: Vegas is very walkable (from an NYC perspective). Make sure you bring comfortable shoes, sunglasses, and water if you are planning on a day of exploring. Taxis: Every hotel has a taxi line where you can get a cab to pretty much anywhere. We didn’t use it but we think Uber works there as well. Rental Cars: there are rental cars available at the airport. Also, many hotels on the strip have car rental places available. There is an enterprise at the Paris. Self-parking is $20 a day. Platinum and above Ceasar’s members get free parking at the hotel. Getting from the airport: We took an airport taxi to our hotel it was a flat rate of $26 before tax and tip (around $35).
