THE BOURBON HOUSE
Our wedding reception will take place at arguably the best oyster bar of any white tablecloth restaurant in New Orleans. The Bourbon House is all about local seafood, which is caught fresh daily. If it’s not in season, you won’t find it on the menu. Enjoy authentic Creole French/African dishes and oysters in a lively atmosphere overlooking Bourbon Street in the heart of the French Quarter. Signature favorites include Gumbo and Barbeque Shrimp. Bourbon is a central focus at the bar with 200 bourbons on the list. Bourbon House is the perfect place for a specialty cocktail or a straight pour of that hard to find small batch whiskey. Seating has been reserved so that we get the best views for the occasion. We must arrive by 8:30pm. Lastly we’ll make our way over to the Jazz Playhouse to enjoy more live music from select local talent.
