Our Story We met in 2021 at the University of South Alabama—two paths crossing at just the right time. It all started with a few shy glances across the cafeteria, and a chance encounter when one of us just so happened to stop and tie her shoes… the perfect moment for the other to finally say hello. Two weeks later, we were inseparable. From college classes and late-night study sessions to cheering each other on through life’s highs and lows, we’ve grown stronger together every step of the way. In 2023, Nelly graduated and began her career in Mobile, while Francois continued his journey as a student-athlete. That same year, we made our first impulsive (but perfect) addition to the family—our beloved dog, Rocky. Then came Simon—our unexpected and unplanned “child” who stayed far longer than we ever imagined. But somewhere along the way, he became a snuggly, loving part of the family we didn’t know we needed. Then, on June 19, 2024—coincidentally, her parents' anniversary—Francois asked the question that changed everything. And she said yes. Now living in Orlando and embracing new adventures together, we can truly say: life has never felt more right. We can’t wait to celebrate the beginning of our forever with you.
