Great Reno Balloon Race
The Great Reno Balloon Race is the world’s largest free hot-air ballooning event. This is a once a year special event that happens over 3 days in Reno. This is also the event where Garrett asked Aundrea to be his girlfriend, right as the balloons were ascending into the morning skies.
Lake Tahoe
Round Hill Pines, in South Lake Tahoe, is where Garrett took Aundrea on their first date. If you have the opportunity during your visit you should make the short drive up to Lake . You don't need much just your towel and swimsuit. Round Hill has kayak and paddle board rentals, as well as a full bar and restaurant.
Josef's Vienna Bakery & Cafe
Joseph's Vienna and Bakery is Garrett and Aundrea's favorite brunch spot in Reno, you can find them here on any given Saturday morning. Aundrea's favorite is the dirty chai latte and chicken pot pie. Garrett's go to meal at Joseph's is the Hungry Man French Toast, if you ask him it's the best french toast in town. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do if you stop by.
2 Tha Joint Sushi
You can't visit Reno and not try AYCE.. also known as All You Can Eat Sushi! Garrett and Aundrea's favorite sushi spot in Reno is 2 Tha Joint, they have a variety of sushi rolls including cooked rolls for the sushi beginners.
The Eddy
The Eddy is the location where the couple met for the third time within a month, however Aundrea didn't realize it was her third time meeting Garrett. Needles to say the rest is history after that day. But if you are looking for something fun to do in Downtown Reno, The Eddy is a great outdoor community collaborative space and they serve cocktails!
Zozo's Ristorante
Zozo's is the couples favorite little hole in the wall Italian restaurant. Don't forget to call in and make reservations for dinner during you're visit to Reno. Aundrea's favorite dish is the Lobster Ravioli, its a delicious hearty meal. While Garrett's go to dish here is the Zozo's Signature Cioppino, if you're looking for a lighter seafood dish we highly recommend!
