Due to COVID and family sickness, we've decided to hold a private ceremony with parents and siblings only. We will have a celebration later in the year and would love for you to join us then. We thank you for your love and support and can't wait to celebrate with you!
We were introduced through a mutual friend (thanks Nikki) who knew we had similar stories. Neither of us thought anything of it so we decided to give friendship a try from 700 miles apart. The conversations felt comfortable, as if we'd known each other for years. Our similar experiences, likes and dislikes, our morals and goals in life developed a deep friendship. At that point, we both thought "let's see where this goes". The rest is history!
What started as a romantic dinner turned in to us being stranded. The kill switch he installed in the truck a few days prior caused an electrical disconnect that had us on the side of the road. Standing in front of the truck headlights, along with glow of the lightening bugs, stars, and moon gave us the perfect lighting. The crickets and frogs gave us the perfect music and him down on one knee gave me the perfect response- yes! This staged "break down" could not have been more perfect.
