Maid of Honor

Alyssa and Auliya first met when they were just 5 years old and became friends almost instantly. As we were both Air Force Brats, we were lucky that our fathers were constantly stationed at the same bases for several years. From Girl Scouts in Germany to wearing matching dresses for our 8th grade graduations in Arizona, and now standing by my side as we say our 'I do's' in our adult lives. Alyssa has become an extension of the family as she now resides with her two beautiful sons in Ohio. No matter the distance Alyssa has always been there for me and I am lucky to call her my best friend, sister, and now maid of honor.

Chuck Eckert

Best Man

Chuck and his wife Beth currently live in Columbus, MS with their two daughter Lucy, and Allison. Charles Jerome and I met in 2002 while in processing together at Hurlburt Field, FL. We immediately hit it off with a love of beer, music, grilling, and terrible golfing. From the first time we hung out, Chuck and I have never lost touch. Though we don't see each other as much as I would like, we never go long without catching up. We have shared laughs, births, and a few deaths to those close to us. Chuck is truly the type of friend that when we get together we pick up right where we left off, beer in hand near a grill.

Tess Landis

Tess is Auliya's cousin. Ever since Tess was old enough to walk, she became my 'mini-me.' Not only did we look a like but we grew close in our common love for dance. I can still remember how proud she was after her first recital in a bright yellow tutu. It has been my honor to watch her grow into a beautiful young women and soon to be graduate from Jacksonville University with her degree in Aviation Operations to become a flight instructor then airline pilot.

It's not many people who can say they were friends with their (soon to be) wife's sibling prior to any romantic involvement. Travis and I worked together and developed a close friendship two years prior to Ali and I falling in love. The thing that brought us closer was him showing me the intricacies of Game of Thrones. We would talk after every show and Tra would break it down for me, pointing out little things that I missed. Quick Travis story, we went to a Brewery for Game of Thrones trivia night, he dominated the competition. We (mostly Tra) won by doubling up the competition.

Brianna Hicks

Bridesmaid

Brianna is Jeremy's youngest daughter and her and Auliya became instant buddies when they met. Brianna is full of energy and carries a light inside her brightens every room she is in. From doing back handsprings through theme parks to dancing in the kitchen, there is never a dull moment when we have Brianna around. We couldn't be happier to have her stand beside us on our day.

Jason Hicks

Groomsman

Jason is Jeremy's brother. He is married to his wife Jessica Hicks and has two children, Liam (ring bearer) and Kaia (flower girl). Jason is truly one of my best friends. No matter what I need, I know Jason will be there for me, he always has been. We were very lucky to be close in age, we mingled in the same social groups, same sports teams, even some of the same classes in high school. It's nice to have someone close to you that knows your background and how to help you handle situations.
