We're getting married!

It was what seemed to be a normal morning at American Ambulance, I walked up to the truck at 0600 on the dot for crew change, except this time…there was a medic I had never seen before. Total bad boy vibes: the hat, the g-shock, the “I don’t care attitude”….exactly my type, haha. Weeks go by and he never says a word to me, just awkwardly stares me down. Finally one day after crew change I get a notification on Facebook “Jesus auli has added you” then hours later he accidentally liked a picture of mine from 3 years ago. I was ecstatic but still no words were said to me. Eventually I got tired of waiting and decided to “slide in his dms” with a little sass to get things started and guess what, it worked. From that moment we talked every day, soon we were going on trips around the country, hiding love notes on the ambulance for each other and spending every Sunday together. I truly fell in love with my best friend. Although it took a year for him to ask me to be his girlfriend, and two more after that to propose, I’m so excited to marry the mysterious medic I met at crew change.

After a long Night Shift at the ambulance , We are getting ready for pass on at the Osceola station , As the usual morning paramedic approaches , I started chatting about our shit show night and this beautiful girl , long hair , black nike hat , pink stethoscope , and boots that she could barely walk in show up for her new shift as EMT . I continued to give pass on , But never exchange a word with this gorgeous soul because SHE IS OUT OF MY LEAGUE . Next day come and I get to see her again, all night me and my partner talked about her…but again , she is out of my league so I have to play cool. After a few shifts I did some stalking That I am very proud of , I was able to get her first and last name on the work computer and decided that it was a good idea to add her on Facebook so I can stalk her foreal. I accidentally (not really an accident) liked one of her old pics to get her attention and she messaged me. BOOM now I’m on the winning team . Next thing we are going on dates, she was bringing me breakfast every shift, and had me actually checking the truck out to see if she left me secret notes. 4 years have passed and every day that I get to wake up next to this beautiful girl is still the biggest win ever.
