Auguste and Aubrey met in June of 2021 through Auguste’s brother, Doran, and Aubrey’s close friend, Kylie, who were dating at the time and recently got married. Auguste and Aubrey began spending in time in the same group of friends, and soon after, Auguste asked Aubrey on a date. Through all of their time spent together and the many special memories they made from traveling, to cooking dinners together, to late night cookie runs and so much more, they grew closer in their relationship, while pursuing Jesus and growing closer to Him as well. On December 15, 2023, Auguste surprised Aubrey with a “day trip” to Tampa, Florida. After an entire day full of adventure from exploring the city and enjoying the ocean, they walked along the beach, where Auguste asked Aubrey to spend forever with him. As if the day couldn’t have possibly gotten any better, they walked into the dinner restaurant, where Auguste’s parents and Aubrey’s mom, aunt, and uncle were waiting in anticipation, overjoyed and ready to join in on the celebratory evening together. Auguste, Aubrey, and their parents spent the next four days in Florida making memories that will be cherished forever. Auguste and Aubrey are incredibly grateful for the story God has written in their lives, and they are thrilled to celebrate with you this very special part of their story, committing to each other in the beautiful blessing of marriage.
