Where and when is the wedding taking place?

Answer

Both the wedding and the reception will take place on beautiful Lake Walden in Hartland, Michigan. The Ceremony will be held outside, with the couple meeting under a pergola on the banks of the lake. The Reception will be held under an open-air lakeside tent a few yards away from the ceremony space.

What time should guests arrive?

Answer

Guests should plan to arrive no later than 15 minutes before the ceremony time. This is a large property, so please allow yourself some extra time for navigating and parking. Thanks!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, guests should plan to adhere to a cocktail attire dress code. The ceremony will take place outside, and the reception will be under an open-air tent. The couple will do their best to accommodate the weather with fans or heaters as needed but guests should plan to dress to be outside for the duration of the event.

Kids and Plus Ones

Answer

We love your little ones and your friends, but due to space and planning, we kindly ask that only those named on the invitation attend. Thank you for understanding and celebrating with us!

Will transportation or parking be provided?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided to and from the venue; however, parking is abundant within walking distance of the ceremony and reception space.

What if I Have Dietary Restrictions

Answer

Should you have special dietary needs, be sure to make us aware during your RSVP so that we can ensure the venue will be able to accommodate them in advance.

Can I take photos or videos during the ceremony?

Answer

The bride and groom are having an unplugged ceremony and would prefer that all guests keep their phones on silent and in their pockets during the ceremony.
