You'd never believe how timing worked out so well. Audrey was getting work done at her local Starbucks, and in comes a handsome gentlemen getting his afternoon pick me up. We made eye contact and it felt like love at first sight. Just kidding. We met on the dating app Bumble in November 2020. It is wild to think that our paths likely would have never crossed, had we not met through the app. Audrey and Trace were drawn together for the same reasons: the conversations were engaging, and never felt dull. After communicating for days on the app and realizing there was a potential connection, we exchanged phone numbers and scheduled phone calls and FaceTimes to explore the connection further during the craziness of the pandemic. After maybe a week, we scheduled our first date: picnic in the park... in November...in the cold... Trace brought Jimmy Johns sandwiches, cookies, Modelos, and a frisbee. Audrey brought the game Quixx. We both recall being SO nervous and hopeful that we would feel the same excitement we had been feeling with the phones calls/FaceTimes. We had lunch, chatted more, threw some frizz (Audrey was very poor at this, Trace offered pointers), and played Quixx at the picnic table. Our hopes had been fulfilled. From then on, we were actively looking for other ways to hang out, talk, and spend time with each other. We have been doing just that since then. Audrey and Trace bought a house together in Littleton, CO in August 2025 where they reside with their 2 cats: Cashew and Pepper.
