What should I expect?

Answer

Our wedding will be a simple event. Our ceremony will be short and sweet, followed by a buffet-style meal at the Rusty Scupper. We will be wrapping things up at the restaurant by 7pm. For those who wish to meet us for a drink, we will be at Ropewalk Tavern in Federal Hill later in the evening.

What time should I arrive at the Ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at Fort McHenry at 3:00pm. Our ceremony will begin at 3:30.

Where is the Ceremony being held at the Fort?

Answer

The ceremony will be held on the grassy lawn between the Statue of Orpheus and the Star Fort (red dot on the map above). The closest parking is in the overflow lot on your left as you enter the park (blue dot).

Can I go into the Fort?

Answer

Feel free to walk around at Fort McHenry, but keep in mind that a fee applies for admission to the museum and the Star Fort. Please be respectful of the other park guests and their right to enjoy this beautiful park.

Will you be providing transportation to the venue?

Answer

We will not be providing transportation, however both the ceremony and reception venues have ample parking available. Ubers are also readily available in the city.

What should I wear?

Answer

Please dress comfortably in semi-formal attire. Keep in mind that the ceremony location is in a grassy area, so heels are not recommended.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your little ones, but we will not be including kids in our wedding.
