Our story started where all great love stories start: Wheel Jam (Huron's famous truck show). But it actually started long before that. We've known each other our entire lives, spending many days at the Huron Country Club when we were young. Throughout our high school years we didn't interact much, as we went to different schools. That is until Rich ended up at Audrey's house for a pool party on a summer night, both too nervous to spend much time talking to one another. But four years later, on a fateful June night at Wheel Jam, (with some help from our mutual friends after Rich told one of them he thought Audrey was pretty) we worked up the courage to speak more than a few words. The conversation carried us all the way across town (literally) as Rich walked Audrey from the Fairgrounds to Audrey's brother's house (located in the opposite corner of Huron). We've been inseparable ever since, despite the 1,000+ miles between Jacksonville and Omaha, both making countless trips to visit one another as well as our families. Rich proposed on December 22nd, at Audrey's childhood home, and Audrey made the easiest decision of her life and said yes!!! (with lots of jumping around and happiness).
