One of our favorite Tex-Mex restaurants in the loop. Gotta have the margaritas here.

The grandaddy of the Houston Tex-Mex scene. The fajitas here are unreal.

Our favorite ice cream shop. Their boozy ice cream flavors are a must have for us when we go back home to Houston. The stuff here is so good that Raf brought their pistachio baklava ice cream on a flight to New Orleans to visit Audrey on one of her away rotations.

Milk & Cookies

The best chocolate chip cookies in the city. We routinely buy dozens of these cookies and bring them back to New Mexico. Get an ice cream cup with one of their chocolate chip cookies on the bottom.

House of Pies

Great 24-hour diner. Get the Bayou Goo and the Chocolate Pecan pies. Also where Audrey and Raf had their first date.
