Our favorite of the Smithsonians. If you fancy a drive, its satellite location at the Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly is excellent as well!

The oldest restaurant in DC and Peter's favorite oysters in the city. Right next to the White House!
The Tombs
The classic Georgetown bar and grill. We love the crab dip!
Theodore Roosevelt Island
A lesser-visited location to get some nature in the middle of the city. This was Peter's favorite running trail in college!
National Mall
A two-mile park in the center of the city that features the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument, the Smithsonian Museums, and much more! The monuments are especially fun to visit at night.
Great Falls Park
A beautiful location for a hike!
