Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! Transportation will be available to and from the wedding venue. Additional details regarding shuttle pickup and drop-off locations, departure times, and return service will be shared closer to the wedding date.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We have room blocks at The Draftsman Hotel, The Graduate Hotel, and the Omni Hotel. Additional lodging recommendations can be found in the Travel section of our website, and Charlottesville also offers a wide variety of hotels, inns, and vacation rentals. Because April is a particularly busy time of year in Charlottesville, we encourage guests to book accommodations as soon as their plans are finalized.

When should I expect to receive my invitation?

Answer

Formal invitations with RSVP information will be mailed approximately 8–10 weeks before the wedding. Once invitations are sent, guests will be able to RSVP through this website or by following the instructions included with their invitation.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! As noted on our Schedule page, we will be hosting a casual farewell reception at one of our favorite local vineyards on Saturday afternoon for any guests who are staying in town after the wedding.

I have a food allergy or dietary restriction, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! We will have a vegetarian entrée available and can accommodate other dietary restrictions and food allergies. Please indicate any dietary needs when you RSVP so we can work with our caterer to ensure you are well taken care of.
