Maid of Honor
Big sister, best friend, mentor, doctor, stylist, chauffeur, personal therapist, and so much more! Miriam wears a lot of hats in my life but I’m so glad she agreed to be my Maid of Honor! Miriam has the biggest heart and she’s always got my back, so she’s the perfect person to have next to me on the big day!
Best Man
Faithful friend, funny, musically talented, all-around cool dude. I met Max, Luke, Cody when I started attending Christian Fellowship School in 8th grade and we became great friends. Sadly, Max thought I was in 5th grade when I started at CFS (I was an 8th grader and have grown a lot since then). Max and I played in our high school band together. Max is always up to a spur of the moment call to get food/soda and catch up on life. This is a little more difficult now that he is in Nashville most of the time. Congrats to Max on graduating from Belmont University in December 2021. Those attending the wedding may want to get his autograph as he has a bright musical future and is on his way to being famous! #youwillseemeatthegrandoleopry
Bridesmaid
Hattie is one in a million! She was my roommate for two years and one of the hallmarks of our relationship was when we would lay on our bunk beds with a mirror on the desk next to us so we could see each other while we talked at night! She’s one of the most creative, compassionate, fun, loving people you’ll ever meet! Plus Hattie played a pretty important role in getting Joshua and I together so we will both be indebted to her forever!
Groomsman
Deep-thinker, kindhearted, super smart, dedicated student. Many expect Luke will become President someday – and our country would be so much better if he was. Luke is a very grounded, faithful man who is a great example to all (including me!) who have the privilege of knowing him. He is heading to medical school Fall 2022. #lukeforpresident
Bridesmaid
Madelyn is 110% herself everywhere she goes and brings the energy to every room. I traveled a lot of miles with Madelyn the year we were state officers and the best place to get close to someone is in the car! Madelyn now lives in D.C. so I don’t get to see her as often as I’d like but I’m so honored she’s a part of the wedding!!
Groomsman
Creative, funny, wise beyond his years. He was the first of the “Max, Luke, Cody and Josh pack” to get married (no one saw that coming) and has paved the way for us regarding how to be a faithful husband. Cody graduated early with a degree in Video Production and minor in business. If you are watching a movie in 5 years, and the director is Cody Campbell, remember…. you saw him in the McDowell/Martin wedding. #heisgoingplaces
Bridesmaid
Meet my twin Adriene! You might laugh but you’d be surprised how many people get us mixed up! Adriene was also on my state officer team and was actually my accountability partner! Adriene is the toughest person I’ve ever met and her heart inspires me to be a better person all the time! Can’t wait to have Adriene with us on May 28th!
Groomsman
Hunter, outdoorsman, fisherman. I met Kyle while taking some classes at the Career Center in High School. We have enjoyed hunting, fishing and just hanging out outdoors. My favorite memory of Kyle was bow-fishing at Perche Creek and the bank gave way and he fell in. Kyle is pursuing a degree in forestry at MU. #treenerd
Bridesmaid
Grace is my cousin but we also only live a parking lot away from each other!!! Grace and I have celebrated high school musical themed birthday parties growing up, stirred a lot of apple butter, and even traveled to Barbados on a mission trip together! Grace has the best laugh and never fails to make me smile! So excited to have her stand up with me for the wedding!!
Groomsman
Farmer, hunter, boyfriend of Larna Schnitker (who is considered a “cousin” – actually, my cousins’ cousin – think about that), funny and a solid friend with similar political views and no inhibitions in sharing them! Michael is working on a degree in Ag Business at MU. #beefiswhatisfordinner
Ring Bearer
Ring bearer might be the official name but Brooks is really more of the sheriff for the day! He said yes to being in the wedding on one condition- that he made the rules. Which of course are “There Are No Rules”.
Honor Attendant
Caroline lives a couple hills over from my parents and she’s been like a little sister since birth! She’s super sweet but also has two little brothers so if you don’t know what you’re supposed to be doing at the wedding I’m sure Caroline can tell you what to do! Look for her handing out programs and monitoring the guest book on the big day!
