We met during our time at Texas A&M (whoop!), and pretty quickly realized life together would never be boring. For our first date, we grabbed street tacos and walked to a park on campus. Josh brought his dog, Nezzy, who immediately launched herself into the pond… despite not really knowing how to swim. Josh jumped to the rescue (earning instant boyfriend points, haha), and afterward we sat on a blanket by the water eating tacos while Nezzy wandered off and came back every few minutes to beg for snacks and sympathy. A couple years later, Josh brought me back to that same park and asked me to marry him...this time thankfully with no water rescues required! Since then our duo has grown into quite the animal crew: three dogs, two cats, a snake, and two tortoises. Safe to say any future plans we make have to be approved by a committee of pets, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We can’t wait to keep doing life together as husband and wife!
