We met at chick-fil-a working together! We worked together for around 2 1/2 years before we ever talked to each other. After we became friends we became best friends. We would hangout after our shifts and just talk. Jessup gave me the courage to start longboarding again after I sprained my ankle in an accident. We spend the summer longboarding and talking all the time. I had plans to move to Texas around Thanksgiving of 2020, however I started to have feelings for Jessup and I did not want to leave him so I got up the courage to tell him how I felt one night and he was totally taken off guard but after a minute he told me he felt the same! We’ve been dating since that night in October. We then drove around and talked about all the stories we had and times we liked each other but didn’t say anything. It was so perfect.

I (Audrey) was under the impression that Jessup and I we’re having a double date with my sister and her husband. However my sister Corinne and Jessup were planning to surprise me but I had no idea! I showed up to Corinne’s house before we went to go to dinner. She told me she was in the basement so I went down there. Corinne was the first sibling that I introduced to Jessup after we started dating so we have fond memories hanging out with them in her basement. Anyway, I went down there to see Corinne and she was holding up her phone because she was recording me. I was like what is going on and then I turn my head and I see Jessup standing there looking all nice and handsome and a sign on the wall that says will you marry me! I was totally surprised and freaked out! I was so so excited and it was perfect! After that we went to dinner to celebrate our engagement and then came back to celebrate with me family afterwards ❤️
