The Wedding Website of Audrey Rozell and Jesse Cutts
Question

Can guests stay overnight at Camp Pendalouan, Friday & Saturday?

Answer

Yes! Whether you're staying in a cabin bunk or a tent, the rate is $55 per person, per night, Ages 5+. Venmo: Cutts Camp Wedding @cuttscampwedding. You may arrive after 5pm on Friday (9/30) and stay until Sunday (10/2), 11am. Cabins are first come first serve. RSVP by 8/1/22, we will sort out the cabin arrangements after 8/1, and reach out to you to let you know your cabin/bunk is reserved and we will request your payment at that time. Tents are welcome (BYOT) but there's no electric hook-ups in the sports field (as it's not a campground).

Question

What's the Glamping hotel?

Answer

It's just a hotel :) We have discounted rates for hotels nearby. *See Travel page for the link to discounted hotel rates!

Question

Is there transportation to/from the hotels to the wedding?

Answer

Because everything (ceremony & reception) is at the camp, we do not have transportation/shuttle. The plan is to arrive at Camp Pendalouan and enjoy your stay either for the weekend or just Saturday night! There are onsite accommodations for sleeping i.e. cabin bunks or bring a tent, so you don't have to go anywhere. We do have discounted rates for hotels. If you wish to stay in one, the link is on the travel page. Please have a plan for how to get yourself back to your hotel safely :)

Question

Are pets allowed?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. Service animals only. We'd love to see everyone's pets but to avoid fees/fines + dog fights, please keep them comfy elsewhere. If you choose to bring your animal, you agree to pick up the bill :) Exception for bride & groom, therefore, Katy and Guinness Cutts will be there.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

www.zola.com/registry/audreyandjesse2022 (& Amazon, but everything can be seen on Zola registry).

Question

Is there electricity for tent camping?

Answer

Camp P is technically making an exception for our guests to stay in a tent onsite if they choose vs the cabins. However, the preference is for guests to stay in the cabins. It is not a campground. Therefore, there is not electric hook-ups in the field where tents can be set up. There is plenty of lighting throughout the camp to find your way around at night.

Question

What are the cabins like?

Answer

- Cabins have a rustic feel and have electricity + heating. - There are 10-16 cabins that can accommodate 12-16 people per cabin. It's camp, so prepare for bunk beds! - There are three cabins that have showers and bathrooms inside and communal bathrooms for the remaining cabins that are located very close nearby (right out back, multiple stalls and showers). - Any elderly staying will have priority for the cabins with bathrooms. - We might have a baby bunkhouse for families with small children (if interested, please indicate on RSVP) - Cabins will be assigned based on friend/family groups - For cabin sleepers, we will notify you in advance which cabin has been reserved for you & who you would be staying with, and request your payment at that time.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As long as they are included on the RSVP so we can make sure everyone's fed :) *note there will be canoes out with alcoholic beverages in them. *if staying onsite please remember the rate is $55 per person, per night which applies to children as well, ages 5+.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes. Cars may drive to cabins to unload (if staying) but vehicles are to be parked in parking lots. There will be a camp host directing where to go.

Question

Can people swim/kayak unsupervised?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. Under camp licensing laws and regulations, we would need to staff the dock with a lifeguard. However, the camp is within minutes of Lake Michigan and a state park that shares the same lake if you want to swim/kayak, etc. https://cityofmontague.org/parks-amenities/medbery-park/ https://parksandrec.heresjoe.com/blue-lake-park/

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal on wedding day (10/1)

Question

What if it rains?

Answer

There are 5 sheltered/indoor options for rainy days. But that's not going to be an issue ;)

Question

Will there be food?

Answer

Friday Night - Dinner on Your Own. Grab your favorite camp food essentials! Breakfast on your own Saturday & Sunday morning. Saturday - Dinner will be served Saturday only - buffet style with protein, vegetarian pasta, vegetables, bread + butter, salad.

Question

Alcohol

Answer

We will have kegs and canoes filled with ice, alcoholic beverages and soft drinks. *This is our "open bar." Feel free to bring your favorite drink just in case we don't think of it or run out :) *Pre-mixed drinks are allowed but no open bottles of hard liquor on property.

Question

When are quiet hours and does that apply for our exclusive wedding?

Answer

Quiet hours are midnight - 7am. Since camp is located near other camps (Pioneer Trails and Camp Owasippe) and share the lake, the request is for loud music to be turned down during those 7 hours. We are still welcome with the exclusivity to play music as long as it's not loud and cannot be heard from a distance.

Question

What's the Weather Normally Like?

Answer

In October, the weather in Muskegon typically ranges from 53 - 75 degrees Fahrenheit.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Be sure to include your plus one (1) on RSVP so we have enough food and drinks for everyone!

Question

Smoking

Answer

Smoking is not permitted in any buildings and should be limited to specific areas. Sand-filled cans are available for cigarette butts.
