Audrey and Gunnar's love story began on August 3rd in 2017 when they met at a YoungLife summer camp called Malibu, in Canada. Audrey was sixteen, and Gunnar had just turned seventeen. Their connection sparked over a game of ping pong, and they spent the next three days exchanging flirty glances and stolen moments. On the boat ride home, they exchanged numbers in a notepad, as the camp was cell-phone free. By the time Audrey got home, she already had a text from Gunnar, marking the beginning of their inseparable bond. The next two years were filled with weekend visits and long-distance dates as they navigated high school. In 2019, they both moved to the same city for college, finally living close to each other. After graduating, they moved into their first home together in January 2024, a cozy space by the ocean where they enjoyed sunsets and beach walks. On September 15th, 2024, the day before their seven-year dating anniversary, Gunnar proposed to Audrey at St. Edwards State Park, a place they had cherished for years. On the edge of Lake Washington, Gunnar got down on one knee and asked Audrey to be his wife. She said yes, ready to start their most exciting adventure yet - marriage!
