This is our favorite place in Casper for date night! They have good cocktails and great beef. Audrey's favorite is the steak salad <3
Fly Fishing
Casper and Natrona County have plenty of locations for fishing, from the North Platte River and Fremont Canyon to Alcova and Pathfinder reservoirs. Located about 25 minutes southwest of Casper, Grey Reef has incredible fly-fishing. Located farther outside of town is the Miracle Mile, which is a stretch of the North Platte River that’s earned a reputation for its isolated location, hearty trout and every-changing conditions. Just be sure you’re familiar with water rights because the North Platte River flows through public and private lands (with plentiful public-access points), but it’s important to note that in Wyoming the bottom of the riverbed is owned by the landowner. Rotary Park
Audrey took Grady here the first time he came to Wyoming. There is a waterfall and picnic area that are nice in the summer months. For hikers, the Bridle Trail trailhead begins in Rotary Park, ascending east and west therefrom, offering views of the Garden Creek Waterfall and the city below. The overall loop is almost 5 miles long and rises over 1200 feet, with a 'tunnel' about midway known as split rock. The average hiker can complete the outermost loop in about 3 hours. If you're pressed for time and energy, opt for a shorter loop on the west side of the Park. Text Audrey with question!
