Getting There

San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and Oakland International Airport (OAK) are the closest major airports. Glen Ellen is approximately an hour and a half north of SFO driving, and approximately an hour north of OAK. You may also be able to fly into Charles M. Schulz–Sonoma County Airport, which is only a 35 minute drive from Glen Ellen, but it does not offer direct flights to/from the East Coast or outside the US. Generally, renting a car or car pooling is the easiest way to get from the airport to Wine County. Plus there are lots of great places to stop and visit along the way--see Things to Do. There are many hotels within a 20-minute drive, and we've listed several good options on this page. There are also a variety of vacation rentals available. We recommend booking as soon as possible, as July is peak season in Sonoma. See below.

Day-Of Transportation

This area will be busy with weddings and tourism, so we recommend that you plan transportation for getting to and departing Beltane Ranch in advance. Uber and Lyft do operate in the area, but availability may be limited, so please schedule your rides well in advance if you plan to utilize these services. Parking is available at the venue.

Flamingo Resort

Highly Recommend! The Flamingo Resort, located in Santa Rosa, is a 20 minute drive north from Beltane Ranch. We have personally stayed here and loved it, they recently renovated and their food is amazing. This hotel also has a very large heated outdoor pool and large hot tub. Their rates are reasonable and they are currently offering a credit of $200 towards stays booked in advance!

El Pueblo Inn

Highly Recommend! We reserved a room block at El Pueblo Inn for our wedding guests and encourage you to book here. From touring the hotel, we felt it is a very pleasant choice, with a lovely fountain and outdoor pool. This boutique hotel is located in the town of Sonoma, within walking distance of the town center and it is a short 15 minute drive from Beltane Ranch. There are a variety of home rental options located within a 20-minute distance of Beltane Ranch! You will find the majority of rentals located in Santa Rosa and Sonoma, either of these areas and everything in between is beautiful, safe, and easy to get to/from. Please keep in mind that most home rentals will require a 2 or 3-night minimum stay.
