North Beach: Explore the Tybee Island Lighthouse, watch cargo ships, find unique shells, quite surroundings. (Sand is rougher). They have bathrooms and outside showers. Mid Beach: Beachfront dining, quite surroundings, minimal crowds. (Sand is rougher) South Beach: Tybee Island Pier and Pavilion, restaurants, shopping, ice cream, Wet Willies, Tybee Marine Science Center. (Most Touristy & perfect sand) Back River Beach: Minimal waves, spot dolphins, watch the sunset, kayak. Beach access to the back river beach is Chatham ave, Inlet ave & Fisherman’s walk.
