We’re getting married!

Chris and Audrey met in high school and became friends quickly, even though one of the first things he did was shove a cupcake in her face! They began to date after about a year of friendship. Although young love is surreal and amazing they both still had some learning to do and parted ways in 2015. They remained very good friends and were always there for the other whenever they needed it. They decided to give their relationship another try in 2020 and have been inseparable ever since!

Chris proposed in New York on May 8, 2022. It was a complete shock to Audrey as she expected it on top of the Empire State Building the day before. Chris arranged a carriage ride through Central Park. They got on and began the ride and stopped at the Home Alone fountain where they met a photographer (and no Audrey still didn’t suspect anything as it was New York and Chris said to just go with it). They walked down to Bow Bridge and were looking out over the water when Chris began to sing “you are my sunshine” in Audrey’s ear, except at the end he asked if she would promise to be his forever. Audrey turned to him on one knee asking to marry her! Many tears were had and lots of shouts, smiles and excitement from the crowd as she said yes!

Our ceremony will be held at Audrey’s Aunt and Uncles Farm off of Lonesome Mountain Road in Charlottesville, Va at 4:30 pm. Cocktail hour and Reception to follow.
