What should I wear?

Answer

We would love for everyone to wear something somewhere around the color palette at the top of this page, you do not have to wear one of those exact colors, we are just asking for no hot pink or loud things ;) any neutrals, or warm colors would be great! There is also a moodboard for you to reference. We want our pictures to look really cohesive and not have any sore thumbs sticking out :) Dresses, jumpsuits, suits, nice shirts, it's up to you! Just be comfy!

What is the plan if the weather is bad?

Answer

We are renting a tent for guests to sit under if there is unforeseen weather changes! The ceremony will still be outside, even in rain, unless there is thunderstorms or some other extreme instance.

Is there an open bar?

Answer

We will be doing a cash bar! Since the wedding is small and we are doing everything on a budget we appreciate everyone understanding this, and for purchasing their own alcohol.

What is the weather normally like this time of year in Edinboro?

Answer

End of May in Edinboro is normally a high of 68 at its peak and a low of 41 at nights. There may be rain, partly sunny, or full sun!

Where should guests park? Is it free?

Answer

Parking is free at both the ceremony and reception location. At the restaurant you can use any of their marked parking spaces. For the ceremony we ask that guests park close to the entrance, more so on the right side of the driveway, in the grass!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our wedding is small and to stay on budget, unless offered one on your invitation, we ask that you please do not bring a date, if you feel you need one for whatever reason please let us know when you RSVP so we can plan accordingly!

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

We do not have a hotel block for guests. Please view our "Travel" section on our website for different hotel options nearby!

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

YES! We would love any photos you take/post on instagram to go under the hashtag "#russintogetmarried" so we can collectively look at them in one place!

What are you doing about Covid-19 precautions?

Answer

We take the safety of our guests very seriously, especially in a pandemic. Due to family visiting from all over, we are requiring proof of vaccination or a negative covid test the week of the wedding. We really appreciate you taking the time to make sure everyone is at their safest. Feel free to send us a picture or some form of proof of either of these things. Thank you so much!
