FAQs

We've tried to cover the bases and will update more FAQs as we think of them. If you think of something that isn't here please text us at the phone number listed on the invitations.
Question

Will there be a shuttle to the park?

Answer

At this time we don't have a shuttle set up. We do GREATLY encourage car pooling if you know anyone else going to the wedding!

Question

How does admission to a state park work?

Answer

The Cheyenne Mountain State Park requires every vehicle displays a park pass inside their vehicle on the front lower right area of their windshield. Normally these passes are $7.00 but on the day of our wedding they are complimentary. These passes will be available for pick up at the entrance gate upon arrival, just let the staff know you are attending the Moore wedding.

Question

Where can I park?

Answer

There are several different parking lots located through out the park. We will be uploading a map of the park for ease of locating. We recommend parking at the Prairie Skipper Pavilion where the reception will be held, and then walking up to Prairie Falcon Amphitheater. There is a smaller lot located at Camper Services with a shorter walk to the Amphitheater. We ask that those that are able bodied park at the pavilion so the Camper Services lot can be utilized by anyone that may struggle with a decent walk uphill.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

It is October in beautiful Colorado! We ask that our guests keep a close eye on the weather and dress accordingly. Think business casual with a little flair (open collars for the boys, and fun dresses for their fairer halves!). The state park may not be the best place for the tux or ball gown you've been saving for a special occasion. There will be (a short amount of) walking on mixed surfaces so please leave high heels at home. This is also an outdoor event so be ready if a rain jacket, scarf, or umbrella is needed. When in Colorado, dress in layers and be ready!

Question

Are there restrooms?

Answer

There are indoor restrooms located at both the Amphitheater and at the Pavilion.

Question

What food will there be?

Answer

We are trying to keep in mind all of our loved ones attending with special dietary needs. There will be options for gluten free, dairy free, and vegetarian. We will be having a variety of sandwiches, chips, dips, salads, snacks and sweets. With that in mind, if there is something special we need to be aware of please let us know, especially if it is a life-threatening allergy! We will try to clearly outline all foods available so no confusion is possible!

Question

Is the wedding kid friendly?

Answer

YES! We have many little ones in our direct family and hope to share our special day with all our friends and family! There is a play ground (ages appropriate for 3-10) located directly next to the Prairie Skipper Pavilion where the reception will be held. Food will be kid friendly as well. All we ask is that if necessary with a screaming child, you step away to try and calm them. Also, keep in mind again that the weather may be a bit colder for little ones. We just don't want someone not to come because they can't find a sitter!
