In Spring 2018, beginning of April to be exact, we were officially introduced to each other through our mutual friend in college, but little did Audrey know, Terry’s story might have started before that. Audrey majored in accounting, but aside from that, she loves photography. You would see her around the campus with her camera taking photos of campus events. Audrey has a routine of waiting in the student lounge in between classes and because of that she made friends with a couple education students who would hang around there. One very normal day, Audrey was waiting in between classes in the student lounge with her friend. All of sudden, her friend asked “do you know that guy that just walked out of the room?" and thought she was going to “spill some tea” Audrey said “sure.” "I think you have a secret admirer" she said. Not expecting that response, Audrey thought that her friend got the wrong person, but she insisted that the guy that just walked out asked for Audrey. Still not sure, Audrey let her give her contact information to him. Terry majored in secondary education, and often volunteered at campus events, he would see Audrey around but never got a chance to go up to her. One very lucky day, Terry was waiting in the student lounge when Audrey walked and sat across his friend (surprise surprise), who is also Audrey’s friend. He immediately texted his friend from across the room, “who is that?” Lucky for both of us, it worked out well. Audrey was the girl Terry asked about and the rest is history. Fast forward to the beginning of July 2025. Audrey and Terry took a road trip to Colorado. This was one of the furthest and longest road trips we have ever done. We visited nine states in nine days. On the fourth day of our trip, we were at The Great Sand Dunes, CO, Terry took Audrey climb one of the dunes. It was not easy to do, but we made it! As we got to the top, Terry nervously presented a ring and asked Audrey to marry him and Audrey said Yes! Bonus story: several years into our relationship, Audrey found a photo of Terry she took before she even knew Terry.
