This vintage hotel is not the most luxurious but most definitely the most historic and haunted of our downtown hotel suggestions. A must stay at least once in your lifetime. If you’re planning on spending multiple days over Labor Day weekend and like the nightlife this is the place for you. Make sure you stop at the Club Congress bar downstairs and get a drink from Barb, the best bartender of downtown Tucson (See how we didn’t say “the best bartender in Tucson”? That spot is reserved for the Bride’s cousin James Hernandez who works at ‘Jonathan’s Cork’ a rustic southwestern restaurant/bar that’s worth checking out if you’re on the east side of Tucson during your stay.)
