Question

So what should I wear?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outside and the reception indoors. I would recommend bringing a jacket no matter what. Idaho weather can be unpredictable. If you are traveling from out of town, check the weather and plan accordingly. You never know if you'll need snow boots or sun glasses in May! Also, this is Idaho, so don't feel like you need to wear your black tie event attire.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There's a dirt field in front of the venue and we encourage car pooling. But if space runs out we are allowed to park in the high school parking lot next door (there's a gate in the fence to enter the venue property, you won't miss it).

Question

I'm not from the area, what do I need to know?

Answer

The wedding and reception will be held at the White Barn at Happy Valley. The White Barn at Happy Valley is located in Nampa, Idaho. Just 18 miles west of the Boise Airport and a 25 minute drive. There are hotels near the venue (look around the Idaho Center in Nampa for good options). The great thing is that because the venue is only a mile from the freeway so you could really stay anywhere from Caldwell to Boise!

What do with do these wild kids?

Answer

There's a "kids room" at the venue and we've hired sitters to watch any kid who you think is going to be bored by the reception :)
