Ask anyone in Albuquerque where to go to eat the BEST New Mexican food, and you might hear a range of answers (Papa Felipe's, Little Anita's, Los Cuates, Garcias, Padilla's, Perea's... the list goes on). In fact you might have a favorite by the end of your stay in Albuquerque too. Wherever you go, make sure to ask the restaurant which dishes there are most popular and also try a warm, fluffy sopapilla with honey!
Located on a farm near the Rio Grande river, this is our favorite brunch place in Albuquerque. Budget some time to walk around and check out the gift shop; they normally sell pastries there, but it's worth getting brunch reservations a week or two in advance to eat in the restaurant. Order the breakfast potatoes--you won't be disappointed!
The world-famous Sandia Tramway is an unforgettable experience. Check the weather in advance in case you need to bring a jacket (the peak can be cold!). Also recommend getting your tickets in advance in case there are any capacity restrictions due to COVID.

Although the Balloon Fiesta won't start for a few more weeks, consider checking out the International Balloon Museum. There is a small admission fee for the museum, but also check out their website to learn about special upcoming events.
