Way back in 2014 Audi and Matt had Chemistry for Engineers together at UW-Platteville. What grew from having lab stations next to each other, to many adventures abroad their love story is one for the ages. A love of travel, interest in engineering, to adopting multiple animals are some of the things that brought this couple close together. Growing together from their late teens to early twenties have been some of the best years of their lives.

Matt gave Audi a day to remember! On October 13th of 2020 through covert planning Matt carefully organized a complete surprise proposal. Under the ruse of an exciting day touring Harry Potter World, Matt "Apparated" the ring in the park with the help of his parents, who Audi didn't know where there. After Audi got Matt Butter beers, thinking he was over heated, and a secrete hand off, they made their way to the Hogsmead bridge to take some pictures of the Hogwarts castle. Matt pocketed his and Audi's mask as they were taking pictures. They turned back towards the castle, and Matt began his magical speech, getting down on one knee, that changed their lives for ever. Through tearful kisses, and a yes, Matts parents along with a crowd of bystanders cheered the proposal, and the rest of the day Audi and Matt felt like they were flying.
