Maria Camia

Maid of Honor

Aubriel's best friend ever since kindergarten...yes, KINDERGARTEN! Maria and Aubriel grew up together and went to school together...all the way up to college at VCU where they were also roommates. While they both can be total opposites, they both are also so alike and can read each other like a book! Maria is a visual theatre artist and writer who creates spiritual/sci-fi plays, puppets, performances, designs clothing and more...a true artist indeed! Maria is from Virginia Beach and currently lives in Brooklyn, New York.

Brian Nguyen

Best Man

Brian is a brother that Hien always wanted but never had. Brian and Hien met through a mutual friend when Hien first attended VCU. They instantly became each other’s “hype man” from feeding off of each other’s positive, goofy, crazy energy. Other than growing his branding and marketing firm, BLN Studio (IG: @_BLN24), Brian likes to spend time with his wife Lisa and his two favorite little humans, his daughters Aria and Penny.

Mary Anne (MA) Laguerta

MA and Aubriel both grew up in Virginia Beach and shared mutual friends all throughout adolescence. However, it wasn't until college years and after college where the two got really close, bonding over their college Filipino organization, FACT@VCU, fashion, makeup, and music! MA is a graduate student studying Instructional Design and a jack of all trades. In her spare time, she plays flag football, roots for the Ravens, hangs out with her ever-growing family, takes photos (and makes sure you look good in them!) and is always taking on a new project.

James Gary

You can say that James is also one of Hien’s brothers. Hien met James at the VCU gym through a friend. They started hanging out by lifting weights and going out for drinks. Together, Hien and James are always doing something adventurous, whether it’s mountain bike riding, snowboarding, or bodyboarding. James is a father of two energetic boys and a loving husband to his college sweetheart, Maria.

Chau Cao

Chau is one of Hien’s closest friends and mentor in real estate investing. Hien and Chau met while working together at Walgreen’s as a Pharm Tech and Pharmacist. Since then, Chau has become a successful real estate investor. When he is not working, Chau spends his time with his three kids and wife. To Hien, Chau is an honest, dependable friend who doesn’t hesitate to give helpful advice or be an ear to listen.

Jerry Solomon

Bridesmaid

Jerry and Aubriel met freshmen year in FACT@VCU. They both were on the Executive Board during their years and bonded over time. A running joke between Jerry and Aubriel is the silly mishaps Aubriel would put Jerry through- Aubriel being more unpredictable and Jerry more methodical- and still remaining good friends. Despite the shock factor, through the years, they have both developed a strong relationship based on trust, support, and loyalty.

Johnathan Reed

Groomsman

Jonathan Reed is one of Hien’s closest friends. Hien and Jonathan met through a mutual friend and started hanging out by going to get dollar drinks at The Tobacco Company in Downtown Richmond and playing basketball. Hien’s favorite thing about Jonathan is his super positive energy. Jonathan enjoys spending time with his almost one year old son, Jonah, and the love of his life Brittany. He also coaches high school basketball when he’s not doing his 9-5.

Morgan Morton

Morgan and Aubriel met while working at Nordstrom in Tyson's Corner. They quickly bonded over the pains of working retail, working out, the DC nightlife, and fashion. They both since have left the crazy world of retail and have continued to root for each other's successes in their new careers. Aubriel's favorite trait about Morgan is her nonstop energy, her willingness to always be down to be a travel buddy, and that she goes above and beyond for a friend. Morgan currently resides in Falls Church, VA.

Ryan Packer

Ryan is a dear friend of Hien’s. Hien and Ryan met through Jonathan since Ryan and Jonathan were like two peas in a pod. If you saw Jonathan, you would see Ryan. Hien likes to joke that Ryan is his "grumpy" friend, as he is always annoyed by Hien’s goofiness and antics. Despite all this, Hien and Ryan been friends for 10+ years. In his spare time, Ryan likes to stay active and fit (he is a former Certified Personal Trainer) and spends time with his dog, Naila.

Katrina Pineda

Katrina and Aubriel met at VCU in FACT@VCU, and once planned and threw a big all girls party together for FACT and bonded instantly. One of Aubriel’s fondest memories with Katrina is their girls trip to LA for Katrina and Jerry’s birthday. Katrina is a proud momma to a Rottweiler puppy named Hanzo and amazing an chef.

Derek Davis

Derek is one of Hien’s longest friendships. Hien and Derek met in 4th Grade. Afterschool, Hien and Derek would always spend time together, playing basketball and bike riding. Hien and Derek continued to stay throughout adulthood. Derek's loves of his life are his kids, Grace and Bryce. If you ever get a chance to meet Derek, he is seriously the life of the party! Hien's favorite thing about Derek is his wild and crazy energy. Aubriel's favorite thing about Derek is his eyebrows :D

Alden Rivera

Aubriel's younger brother of 5 years. They are super close, ever since childhood, bonding over playing video games like Guitar Hero and Kingdom Hearts, eating Hot Pockets, watching Star Wars (Alden was huge fan as a child) and learning how to play various instruments (Alden is proficient in playing 3 instruments!) Alden's pride and joy is his 2 year old Shiba Inu named Ghost. Alden currently lives in Falls Church, VA.

Aubriel’s rambunctious 3 year old sister. The youngest of Aubriel’s siblings, Chelsea leaves a lasting impression. She is a ball of energy, always running around, dancing, jumping off of things, and always keeping all of the adults on their toes. Aubriel is excited to have this funny girl as her flower girl.

Chloe Rivera

Aubriel's younger sister. Chloe is 9 years old. She is a Christmas baby, with a birthday of December 25th. Chloe is in the gifted program at Greenbriar Primary. Inquisitive, bright, at times shy, and a bit sassy, Chloe likes to explore, strawberry milkshakes, bubble tea, fashion, and photography.
