What should I wear?

Our wedding is semi-formal, so we'd love to see you in your best dressed-up look! Please keep in mind the ceremony will be outdoors on grass.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We've worked hard to create an intimate celebration, so only the guests listed on your invitation are invited. If your invitation says "+1" or includes a guest's name, then yes-we'd love for them to join!

Are kids welcome?

We adore your little ones, but our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. Think of it as an opportunity to dress up, relax, and enjoy a well-deserved night out!

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00pm, so we recommend arriving 30 minutes early to park, find your seat, and settle in.

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP by May 31, 2026, so we can finalize our planning and provide an accurate guest count with our vendors. We may not be able to accommodate responses received after the deadline.

Will transportation be provided?

We will have a shuttle running from the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Marysville to the venue and returning guests back to the hotel at the end of the night. A specific shuttle timeline is still being finalized. More details can be found on the "Travel & Stay" page.

We have a hotel block at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Marysville under the last name Horn. Be sure to book before June 30, 2026, to get the discounted rate. More details can be found on the "Travel & Stay" page.

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

Yes! We'll have an open bar available throughout the evening, offering a selection of beer, wine, and cocktails. Non-alcoholic options-including water, coffee, soda, and juices-will also be available. Please enjoy responsibly and plan ahead if you'll need transportation after the celebration. Shuttle services will run throughout the event between Aspen & Alston and the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Marysville, where we have a hotel block reserved for our guests. Rain or shine, the celebration is on! Aspen & Alston has a thoughtful plan in place for unpredictable weather conditions, including covered and indoor spaces to keep guests comfortable and dry.

Are there any venue guidelines I should know about?

Answer

Aspen & Alston is a beautiful space, and we want everyone to enjoy it safely and comfortably. To help things run smoothly, please keep in mind the following house rules: Outside alcohol is not permitted on the premises. All drinks must by served by licensed bartenders. Guests may not serve themselves or go behind the bar. Shots will not be served. Alcohol will not be served to anyone under the age of 21. Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas. Marijuana and any other drug use is strictly prohibited on or around the venue. Drinking in the parking areas is not permitted. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in respecting these policies so we can all enjoy the day to the fullest. Any guest who does not adhere to these rules and guidelines may be asked to leave the event and premises by Aspen & Alston staff.
