Our Story
This is our first photo together, taken back in 2021! Nathan’s aunt, Lindsy, worked as a nurse at a long-term care facility in Eugene, Oregon, where I was also working as a nursing assistant. At the time, Nathan was living in Redding and working at FedEx.
Whenever I came to work, Lindsy would tell me how much I reminded her of Nathan. I was hesitant to talk to Nathan since he lived far away and I didn’t feel ready for a relationship. After months of gentle nudging, I finally gave Lindsy the okay to give Nathan my number.
A few weeks later, I received a sweet message from Nathan, and sparks immediately flew! Nathan drove five hours to meet me in person, and our first date was magical. We spent hours talking and getting to know each other. We fell in love quickly, and within a month, we were official.
We spent a year doing long distance, but being apart became too hard. I decided to make the big move to Redding to be with the love of my life and the rest is history. 💛
